Air Conditioned Intercooler

I'm reading an article on the next breed of Ford Lightning trucks and it says that Ford has developed a new system that will give more HP "thanks in part to Ford's new SuperCooling technology, which uses the air-conditioner as an intercooler for the supercharger. It dissipates 20 percent more heat than a conventional intercooler, and it's good for about 50 extra horses for bursts of up to 45 seconds." I wonder if a similar system could be adapted for our trucks.

Current: '01 F250 Supercab SWB Powerstroke, 6-speed. It's not bad, but it ain't a Cummins.

Previous: Y2K 3500 quad cab 4x4 Laramie SLT, ISB, 5-speed, all the kool add-ons.

First oil burner: '01 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 EC Dmax/Allison, Edge Juice 4.61, straight piped. Total engine fuel sys. replaced at 69k, sold @ 70k.
