Drove a 6.0 PSD today...

Buddy of mine is thinking about buying one and I took it for a drive, here's my thoughts...

Specs on truck...

2004 F250SD -
Pretty well loaded
Crew cab, 4wd, short bed 6 speed

Bad...
Wants to rev like a gasser, turbo finally spools about 2k...
First gear is a challenge to hit, I kept putting it in third at stops...
REALLY WANTS TO REV
Smoked blue when loaded up (is that normal?)

Good....
You twist that suckers and it RUNS!
Bellhousing was dry
VERY comfortable
Even with FX4 package had a decent ride
BIG back seat

Anyway, from a start you punch it and wait a second... about 2500 it really started to run clean up to about 3800, not real big on twisting a diesel like that, but straight line that truck moves!

Just my opinion, figured I'd post my findings
