Showing my ignorance - is the new Powerstroke a V6 or still a v*???

I had been under the impression that the new 6.0L Powerstroke engine was a V6, but in the latest issue of some vehicle magazine I just read, it referred to the new engine as a V8. Maybe I need to put down the crack pipe and go back to breathing nice, clean diesel fumes.....
