Something i noticed today
While coming back from a half day trip today, i passed a 2500 gasser chevy, and started thinking how many gas chevy HDs i see. so since traffic was light, i decided to do a little research. i grabbed a sheet of paper and marked down the first ten trucks i saw of each brand, ford chevy and dodge. i only looked at 3/4 and 1 tons, just the trucks that you can get a diesel in. here are the results:
Chevy--8 gas--2 duramax
Ford--5 gas--5 powerstroke
Dodge--10 cummins
i thought this was interesting. i dont really think the ford #s are accurate, because you see a lot of 'strokes but these were just the first ten i saw. i think you can draw a lot of interesting conclusions from this. Whats yall's take on it, what do the #s mean? looks like the chevys are for riding around, and the dodges are for work. or does it mean the chevy makes a really good gasser, and Mopar is crap?
