Bought a Diesel powered generator
I receintly bought a 5.5K Air cooled Diesel Generator. It has a copy of a Yanmar single cyl, 406cc, direct injected. It has electric start and a pull start (If you feel strong). It has a compression release for easier starting. It is supposed to only use .3 gallon per hour at 1/2 load as apposed to a simular gas rig using close to a gallon per hour. A Retired electrician buddy of mine, (I work on his CTD), is going to wire me up a transfer switch below my house electrical panel to be able to plug in the generator to the house! During the San Simeon earthquake in December here in Calif., We were out of power close to 24 hours. I had a smaller Gas gen that I ran cords into the house to run the refer every few hours.
NOW...... How do you BOMB a air cooled diesel generator ?
