No PI on International VT365 ????
I guess what I would like to know is, did the International VT365 ever have pilot injection ???
I was under the impression that most of the 6.0 problems where caused by Ferd software. And that International wasn't having any problems with the VT 365.
When I got to work this morning I did my regular walk accross the street to McDonalds for my water ( no water fountain at work ). Sitting in the parking lot of the Arby's, which is right next to Mcd's, was a International 4200. It was idleing with nobody in it. When I walked past it the first time I thought it sounded a lot like a 7.3, so figured it to be a t444e. But, when I walked past it the second time, I took a closer look, and right underneath the 4200 badge was a VT 365 badge. I was thinking that was pretty dang weird, cause when I got back to the front door of our shop, which I figure was about 150 + yards, I could still hear it idleing. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to hear a 3rd Gen. or a D-max from a 150 + yards . Which makes me believe this particular 6.0 had no PI.
I stood just inside the door of our shop until the driver came out to drive away, so I could listen to it take off, and it sure sounded like a 6.0 when it took off. Had that jet engine sounding turbo whine.
So.....did the International VT 365 never have PI, or are they having problems with it also and having to remove the program ??
