Dead Ford

A friend of mine, against my advice, recently bought an F350 heavy duty Ford PU. Two months late it blew two injectors and, you guessed it, the dealer refuses to honor warranty. Claims water in the fuel, but no light came on to indicated water in fuel (maybe Ford doesnt have one like Dodge). Dealer wants $1500 to break down engine to find damage. Supposedly there was a recall on Fords '03 injectors but no admission from Ford. New engine is $9,000.
I feel sorry for him, but I told him to buy a real truck.
