Outville (Ohio) Power Show & Pull

OUTVILLE POWER SHOW PULL

Here are the final details of the “Outville Power Show Pull” on July 7th.

This is the first pull being held in Outville, Ohio. The pull is a part of the weekend-long Power Show.
Gates open at 9 AM; Truck pulls are scheduled to start around 4 PM.

To attend, take I-70 east of Columbus to Exit 122, Route 158 (Flying J) and head north on Route 158. OBSERVE SPEED LIMITS AND COMMERCIAL TRUCK ROUTING IN KIRKERSVILLE! Route 158 becomes Outville Road at Route 40. Continue north on Outville Road; watch for signs when approaching Outville. The event will be on the left at the Community Center.
Spectators are admitted FREE!

There are classes for:
...Antique Tractors
......Hot Farm Tractors
.........Pickup Trucks (classes for gas and diesel)
...........Semi Trucks

Since this is a diesel forum, I’ll list the classes and payouts:
Entry Fee = $25
8000# Open Single Charger Diesel ($500, $400, $200, $100)
8000# Open Diesel ($500, $400, $300, $200, $100)

8000# Single Charger Diesel Rules:
1. Dual rear wheels allowed
2. No water injection
3. No nitrous, propane, alcohol allowed (only #2 diesel)
4. Hanging weights allowed furthest point 60” from center
5. Must have full interior and exterior and be street legal
6. Must provide license and registration.
7. DOT tires only; no cut or sharpened tires
8. Stock drive line only; no aftermarket transfer cases or transmissions
9. Must pull from Reese style hitch or bumper. Hook point must be furthest point of vehicle.
10. 26” hitch height
11. Traction & ladder bars allowed.
12. EXHAUST MUST EXIT UP OR DOWN
13. Engine must be from 1 ton of smaller pick-up
14. SINGLE TURBO ONLY
15. Drive shaft loops recommended
16. Rear suspension must have 1” minimum travel
17. Bellhousing/trans blanket recommended

8000# Open Diesel (and gas)
1. 4X4 truck
2. Gas or diesel
3. 26” hitch height
4. Blow proof bell housing or blanket
5. Kill switch near hitch
6. Drive shaft loops
7. Helmet
8. EXHAUST MUST EXIT UP OR DOWN
9. Track and tech official decisions are FINAL!
