We had the pulls tonight. They made us wait until last. We had 2 3500 dualies and 3 2500 and one ford 350 srw. On the first pull I walked out the gate and so did the ford and one of the other dodges. They sent the three of us back around for a pull off. New rules. Floating finish line and increased the sled transfer. I was first to hook. The anouncer said that we had to stop within reason. I had to steer around the flag man at the end of the track!!

361 feet and then they finaly gave me the red flag. 3rd gear low range was the ticket. Thank you Dave and Loretta Mitchell. The other dodge went around 230 feet and the ford went 241. After the event the president of the track came to me and asked if I could put together six trucks for a demo pull on aug 12. The crowd that stayed loved it. They plan on having the diesel only class from now on. Oh by the way I have been contracted by the track to make one run a night for the bug controll.

Yes Dave Mitchell has had his hands in the pump!

This is the first time I have ever had a line back at the truck for people seeking my autograph. Well I have a new name for the truck now. Smoker. It was given by the fans back in the pits. We had a great time and I was glad to meet you Jeff. I will start another post on the pull on the 12. I know that it is the same day as the Ted Jannetty event but I talked to the anouncer and he won't hold us to the 6pm sign in time. I will be going to Ted's and then coming back for the pull. He said that we will pull around 10pm.
