Sacramento Drag Racing - I need to know if you are interested

Hi all,

As part of the diesel breakfast I'm planning in Sacramento for August 3rd, it has been suggested that we go drag racing also. Well, the Sacto raceway has moved their test & tune racing to Friday nights during the summer. They have a grudge match race event from 6:00 PM - Midnight on August 3rd, but I just spoke with the owner of the track, and explained we have 15 or more trucks interested in racing. He told me that he likes to make car clubs happy, and if I can get a decent number of trucks to commit to being there, he would open the track 2 - 3 hours early just for us!!!!!! and then we can race against each other (and not have to wait in long lines...) and race as much as we want for a couple hours before they start their normal evening event, and of course we can race that night as well.

Please, please let me know if you will commit to this, so I can call the guy back and give him a solid number, and if enough trucks are coming to race, he'll do this for us.
