Nov 7-8 results
Richard Madsen's 95 Ford crew cab with a transplanted 1996 Cummins B 12 valve (from a Dodge) was the star of the drag strip. He ran 11.42 @ 118.1 and 11.49 sec @ 118.0 mph. After beating an AC Cobra that ran 13.3, the other Cobras and the Vipers wouldn't line up with him. The crowd went berserk with the full track smoke trail and the mid 11s out of a lifted crew cab.
At the dyno day, we experienced rather cool temperatures inside the shop with the swamp coolers running, and this may have hurt hp numbers a bit. Richard put down 672 hp, and Nathan Wright laid down 639 with his '02 Ram. Both trucks had twin turbos and ran on diesel fuel only. A number of trucks were dyno'ed for test-n-tune purposes, trying different combinations. For the most part, these trucks rans in the 300s and 400s. Several third generation trucks ran, with 333 to 453 hp range. If anyone else wants to post his numbers, add them in a response.
Sickly has not been a good truck to his owner.  He refused to give a good hp number and he has been put in the penalty box for modif . . errrr. . .enhanc. . . err. . .maintenance.  His two latest dyno sheets from a week ago were posted: 799.8 hp and 799.9 hp. Who wouldn't be upset at this blatant failure to cooperate and generate 800 hp? 
We had a great time and enjoyed the mild temperatures. It was also entertaining to see all the ricers and watch Maddog play pac-man with them.
