Automatic Transmission Options

On my '93 Cummins project, I am looking at possible options for trasmissions to run an np203 doubler set-up. My current set-up is a Getrag to a 205, but would like to consider a th400 / np203 / np205 or something similar. Maybe even a C6 or 727. Any thoughts on jumping to an older GM tranny to put behind a Cummins?
