anyone know anything about Sprinters?

a friend asked me about changing the rear gear ratio in his brand new 06 sprinter3500. he says he has a 3.72 ratio. he wants less rpm's on the highway. is there parts available to change out the ratio? and if he does will it have the power to drive ok. he hauls mail about 350 miles a day. thanks in advance.
