Cat I-6 ECM turbo, Tandem Dump
One of my friends has an excavating business and owns a huge Kenworth tandem axle dump. Got a short ride in it today. What a hunk of IRON! The diesel is a low RPM engine. 435 HP Cat 3406E top rpm 1750, Tranny, Eaton-Fuller RTOF(?)16715. Twin screws 4:11 ratio rear axles. Truck legal Max. 54,000GVW. The cab feels like a cockpit of an airplane. Not a mine hauler but still a big truck. GregH
