Jeep fuse question!

'96 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Laredo. Do the wipers have a fuse? Or a circuit breaker? The wipers quit on the wife in the snow the other nite, and I couldn't find a fuse anyplace. Not in the kickpanel box or under the hood. I got POed in the snow and dark and said the heck with it. We were both sick the next day, so I didn't worry about it until afternoon. When I went out, I cleaned the ice from around the wiper shaft area, then turned them on. They worked!
