Continental Conventional Strut Conversion

Continental Conventional Strut Conversion

Have any of you done a conventional strut conversion to take the place of the air suspension on a Continental? I'm 95% decided to do it and just wonder if you are satisfied with the results. Also, did you do it yourself?

My '95 Continental is far and away the best car I've owned and I've had fifty since 1951. It has 108,000 miles and still runs and drives perfectly, except for the leaky suspension. It still drives OK but I'm overworking the compressor and it is bound to fail sooner or later.

I'll buy the Strutmasters kit (just under $600.00 for all for corners). Local spring shop thinks they would take about five hours to do the job.

What do you think?
