My prob. w/ Kerry

Something always bugged me about Kerry, that made no sense.

I kept hearing about his flip-flopping on Iraq...by voting authorization for war, but then voting against that 80 odd billion to fund it ( at least that's what I hear on talk radio, and heard again in the debate). Then I found out why he voted against it. He said it was because in it's original form, it included repealing some of Bush's tax cuts, so that we could pay for what we were spending. Then that repeal was gutted from the original, and they were just contracting more debt w/ no way to pay for it...that's what he opposed. THAT made sense. Bush wanted to continue to borrow and spend. It sounds to me like the Republican is more like a Democrat, and the Democrat is more like a Republican.

JMHO,
sarj
