Media with nothing better to do
Turned on the tv this morning over breakfast, and what do I see?...All 3 major networks I get (NBC, ABC, CBS) are all saying how Kerry "steped over the line" when he refered to Cheney's daughter as "the 'L' word." Puh-lease, she is a lesbian, she is gay, she is a homosexual. Can someone PLEASE tell me what's the big deal? Last time I checked, Edwards refered to Ms. Cheney as a lesbian, and he wasn't chided for it. Also, if this is such a big friggin' deal, why didn't it come out yesterday morning? It's a day late to be bringing up something that is supposedly this big. If it's such an atrocity that Kerry used "the 'L' word" (as Katie Couric put it so eloquently), then why, oh why wasn't this brought up the night of, or at the very latest, the next morning after the debate? Something tells me that the media had NOTHING better to do last night, and decided to come up with some other way to raise a stink over the election. Oh yeah, that's professional
