“Federal employees aiding and/or abetting smugglers”.
We have learned that many employees of the federal government have entered guilty pleas as to involvement in smuggling cases. The most recent being in the U.S. District Court in Tucson . The guilty pleas were entered last week by a former Marine, by Soldiers, National Guardsmen and even prison guards. They were the latest twelve to plead guilty to extortion, and the smuggling of cocaine, and there are at least four more, including a former employee of the Nogales, Arizona police department that are expected to plead guilty to the charges next week. This type of action does not come under “freedom of choice”. At this time, more than 40 military people have been charged along with the other governmental employees.
