"Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act of 2005."

The bill purports to authorize the creation of an exclusively race-based government of so-called "native" Hawaiians to exercise sovereignty over native Hawaiians living anywhere in the United States. This "Native Hawaiian Government" supposedly could exempt these Hawaiians from whatever aspects of the United States Constitution and state authority it thought undesirable.
However, unlike Indian tribes, this proposed Native Hawaiian government would be defined not by community, geography, and cultural cohesiveness, as every other Indian tribe is. Instead, the Native Hawaiian entity would be defined by the one distinction that is completely opposed to American law and civic culture -- that of race.
Oh, and one more thing -- if this bill is passed, there would be nothing to stop ISLAMISTS from declaring that THEY are a "tribe" and can therefore live OUTSIDE of American law, and under Islamic "Sharia" law.
