Sometimes it's down right embarrassing being from Calif.

Six members of Congress refused to condemn terrorism. You did not read that wrong, six voted against condemning terrorism. Worse, three are from California. This explains why we need fair
redistricting. From Best of the Web:

Osama Six-Pack: The House yesterday passed an anodyne resolution commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. It extended sympathy to the victims and survivors; honored the military, first responders, and others who helped; thanked foreign leaders for their support; declared that America is not waging war "on any people or any faith"; reaffirmed a commitment to the global war on terrorism; and vowed "never [to] forget the sacrifices made" on 9/11 or to "bow to terrorist demands." No one could disagree with that, right? Not quite. The House vote for the resolution was 402-6; here are the six far-left Democrats who voted "no":

John Conyers (Mich.) Barbara Lee (Calif.) Jim McDermott (Wash.) Cynthia McKinney (Ga.) Pete Stark (Calif.) Lynn Woolsey (Calif.)

Other Calif. News:
Los Angeles is a sick city, here is more proof. LA City Councilman Parks is blaming Home Depot and other home improvement stores for homelessness among illegal aliens, since Latino day-workers hang around these stores looking for work: "This multimillion-dollar business ignores the fact that these problems are created by the stores," said City Councilman Bernard Parks, who has proposed the ordinance. Parks is demanding that these stores provide shelters for the illegal aliens to live in--probably free of charge. Is this guy nuts? Drivers licenses, in state tuition, credit cards, free health care and education, now he wants to "tax businesses" to pay for shelters for illegals as they come across the border. If they can make it to Lowe's, they have a home. Los Angeles is the city that refuses to cooperate with the Federal government on law enforcement for illegal aliens. http://www2.dailynews.com/news/ci_3018429

When will the State of California step in for the honest citizens & businesses?
