A Chocolate City?

The Mayor of New Orleans proclaimed today(MLK day speach of course)that when all is said and done,New Orleans would be a "Chocolate City" again....He said that god wants it this way....thats the way it will be.
I guess the very low crime,murder and unemployment rates were really starting to bug Nagin...Bring back the Hersheys,Milkyways , Almond Joys and everything will get better.

Why did he have to inject race into his discussion of bringing the city back to life?Just when we should all be pulling together, he says god revealed this BS to him.Too bad he didn't give him a heads up about Katrina.
Lets just say you happen to be a"Vanilla" businessman.Would this type of statement encourage you to reinvest hard earned dollars in this city that remains on life support and could drown again next summer?Nah.
