I'm a staunch conservative, but I have to give the Dem's credit, they chose a good one to deliver the retort.
A few things however:
Kaine stated that the Democrats are the party that moves past partisanship, ummm...did he miss the Supreme Court hearings? Seemed pretty plain and simple to me. They play politics better than the republicans do.
Also, everytime a democrat sites small business and how they are helping us out, I start to get a sick feeling in my stomach. The amount of employee taxes, unemployment taxes, sales taxes, franchise taxes, etc etc etc is almost crippling. If they want me, as a small business owner to provide insurance for my employees, they need to ease up on the tax load. Take my payroll and add 20-30% on top of it (out of my pocket) for various agencies and it is one of my single largest liabilities. That money would make a huge difference in expansion, putting MORE people to work, increasing sales and growth potential.
Living in the world of zero-line budgeting and trying to convince people that live in the base-line budget world often proves to be futile
