License plates with state websites..

Why is there a farking website on my new license plate? This is got to be the most retarded waste of everything government I've every seen in a while... (Michigan plate BTW).

Apparently the reason for the change was for the 3M reflectiveness so cops can see your plate better at night.... wow, took them 100 years to figure this out? Or did someone at 3M have a contact at Michigan's capitol hill?
