Our enemies manipulate us so easily.

Flashback to the congressional elections two years ago:

The closer it got to election day, the more horrible the violence in Iraq and Afganistan became.

The more horrific the mass murders, the more the media focused and fed on it.

The more they focused on it, the more the democrats capitalized on it with promises to end the war.

At the same time, oil prices surged upwards.

The more they rose, the angrier the public became with the "powers that be" (republicans). Who else can you blame?

Democrats quickly pounced on that, too, and made all sorts of promises about putting an end to the obscene profits being made by Big Oil and to open new sources and fuel reserves.

They have since, predictably, cowered from every opportunity to make good on a single campaign promise. They, too, like the money Big Oil gives them.

But just put yourself in the enemy's position. He watches CNN, too. He sees the effect the violence is having. He knows he needs to weaken George Bush in any way possible. What better way to do that than to, with the unwavering help and support of the liberal media, shock and horrify and frighten the American voting public into voting for the opposing party? Random, mass beheadings, the media's favorite, were a daily thing...

Our "allies", the Saudis, who absolutely control OPEC, have also had the destruction of America, after milking her dry of course, as a top priority. So oil prices went up, too. They learned to do far more damage to the US than their own sons, Ossama and his pals, ever dreamed.

Just like they are now.

So the democrats won, renegged on their promises, and now want more. They are fortunate in the fact that most staunch democrats and liberals have very short memories and will vote however their union officials tell them. It must be nice to have constituents who forget so quickly.

It is going to happen again this year in the presidential election. Expect devastating oil prices and therefore inflation. Expect mounting violence. It worked before and the enemy knows it. The enemy wants you to vote democrat and especially for Obama, who they obviously relate to.

Funny though, if Obama were in Saudi Arabia, he would be put to death for renouncing Islam in favor of Christianity...

So we get to go into the polling booth knowing it doesn't matter. Neither party will live up to their oaths and promises.

Death, Illegal Taxes, and Obscene Profits for Big Oil and OPECkers are the voting booth's only truths.
