Rampant PC Idiocy: Bush APOLOGIZES for Koran Target Practice

People have lost their ever-lovin' minds. We are at WAR with fundamentalist Islam, and in the process of bombing Iraq back to the Stone Age we have destroyed hundreds of thousands of Korans. We have incinerated them with bombs in people's homes; we have blown them to shreds on the "holy" corpses of "martyrs"; we have shot them full of holes; and in a thousand different ways folded, spindled, and mutilated them just like we folded, spindled, and mutilated the bodies of the enemy.

But let a guy use a book for target practice and immediately the tears start to flow It's mean! It's hateful! It's way, WAY worse than killing more than 100,000 people!

Radical Islam destroys the WTC on 9/11, killing 3000+ innocent Americans, and nobody feels the need to apologize to the USA. But in this incident, the PRESIDENT feels compelled to apologize? GIMME A BREAK.

Iraqi TV: Bush apologizes for soldier's Quran desecration

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- President Bush has apologized to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki over the shooting of a Quran by an American soldier, Iraqi state TV reported on Tuesday.

An American staff sergeant -- a sniper section leader -- had used a Quran for target practice.

The U.S. commander in Baghdad issued a formal apology Saturday and read a letter of apology by the shooter.

The sergeant has been relieved of duty as a section leader "with prejudice," officially reprimanded by his commanding general, dismissed from his regiment and redeployed -- reassigned to the United States.

Reports of Quran desecration have enraged Muslims across the globe. In this instance, Iraq's most powerful Sunni Arab party, the Iraqi Islamic Party, has demanded the "severest of punishments" for the American soldiers.
