This is hardly worth a new thread, but I got a laugh out of it for a variety of reasons, least of which was Edwards (and the Democrats) claim to be out to protect the little guy… the weak and the down-trodden, so I thought I'd share it.

Meanwhile, an earlier payment of $14,000 to Edwards' mistress from the candidate's political action committee was exchanged for 100 hours of unused videotape she shot producing short Web movies for which she already had been paid $100,000, an Edwards associate told the AP. Neither Edwards' advisors nor this associate would discuss the purpose of the payment on the record,

$114,000 for 100 hours of video footage… you do the math.

I find this pretty laughable, especially in light of hammer’s other post concerning the troops supporting nobama, if money talks, that is.

I thought about campaign finance, and I thought about the lack of accountability. I thought about the fox watching the hen house, I thought about Jesse’s mistress with his little ‘love-child’, and I thought about my unwarranted cynicism… but most of all I thought about the tons of money rolling through nobama’s fingers right now, and the trouble he had scraping up money to put a roof over his head; so much so that he needed help from his indicted buddy who specializes in political coercion after “helping people”, and the host of other characters who have suddenly resigned from nobama's campaign recently, for one reason or another... and I wondered how much all these parasites are getting paid to promote the image of Obama... because an image is all I've really seen of him.

When picking from the best-of-the-worst, as to who’s to be President of the United States, I’m saddened a more honest candidate can’t seem to make it to the top.

in full disclosure, this comment was made from an Obama detractor who believes anything but an Obama would be better for this country come election day.
