I know there are many of this Nation's finest here on TDR. This Day is for you.

I hope with all my heart that the sacrifices made by you and all who came before and after you will not be in vain.

Our Flag has been burned too many times to count. Our buildings and landmarks destroyed. Our citizens, leaders, and military members murdered.

We are still here.

Enemies can destroy the Statue of Liberty. Melt down the Liberty Bell. Lay waste to Washington D.C. and all her monuments.

We will still be here as a Nation of Free Individuals.

For those are just symbols.

What is NOT a symbol, yet is treated more like one than any of the aforementioned, is the Constitution.

THAT is our Nation.

THAT is what you have sworn to uphold and defend. Without it, none of the rest will survive or even matter. It is literally the very foundation of this Nation.

This Country can NOT be destroyed or defeated by any foreign enemy, thanks to you men.

But it can easily be destroyed from within. By those who's simple oath to that Constitution we depend upon. Those who would chip away at our Foundation. Those who would topple all else, just as the Twin Towers toppled; by attacking the Foundation everything else is built upon:

The Constitution.

The 300 Million plus citizens of this country have placed everything , past, present, and future, in the hands of fewer than five hundred. Many of whom seem to show nothing but contempt for the Constitution.

Have they ever even read it?

Just remember your own oaths, my friends: "...against ALL enemies; Foreign and Domestic."

Only those less-than-five-hundred have the Power to destroy the United States of America. From within. That is why their actions and intentions deserve more suspicion and vigilance than the rest of the world combined.

The Price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance.
