Angry Petty Gripe, But it CHAPS MY HIDE!

I am a native of the area where I currently live, and in my entire life I have never seen such a God-awful amount of litter on my Texas highways. In my late teens I made some good money picking up beer cans, and I've always been one of those rare ducks that will pick up litter, so I am a pretty good judge of how things have changed over the years.

Even at the best of times there has been too much trash thrown around to suit me, but Jeeze Louise nowadays it looks like somebody is flying along in a helicopter chopping up household trash with the main rotor to get even coverage of every inch of highway frontage.

What is wrong with people nowadays? I have suspected for a while that the level of litter is directly related to the number of illegals in the area, but even the illegals in their millions can't explain the mountains of debris that worthless scum are throwing all over the place.

If any of you guys are the type that throw trash or cigarette butts out your window, PLEASE just take along a plastic bag and throw your trash away when you get to your destination. It doesn't make you look unmanly, or cost you any money, or even take as much effort as it does to scratch your arse. Our KIDS and GRANDKIDS are inheriting this mess we're leaving behind. Jeeze, have some PRIDE for Gawd's sake.

Sometimes I am ashamed to be a human being....

LITTERERS SUCK!

Ok, I feel a bit better now. Ought to last me until I get out on the roads again tomorrow, maybe even until I grab the next plastic bag and start picking up trash again and again and again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
