Tim Geithner, the nominee for Treasury Secretary, is getting questioned on Capitol Hill today by the Senate Finance Committee.

This pick is important because, if confirmed, Geithner will be in charge of leading President Obama's economic plan and restoring the American people's faith in our economy.

The main objection to his nomination is his failure to pay $34,023 in taxes from 2001 to 2004.

Geithner apologized for his mistakes, calling them "careless" but "unintentional."
