Kid's Dirt Bikes Banned-Literally
I went to get the clutch replaced in my youngest son's KX 100. Guess what. No parts available for kid's dirt bikes because they may contain lead. I was told I can't even buy a helmet for my kids. Dealerships have removed smaller displacement bikes and ATVs from the showroom floors. Items intended for 12 year old kids or younger are banned.
This new law that "protects" kids form lead is crazy. I don't know of a single kid who has tried to eat his motorcycle yet. It doesn't only apply to motorcylces or ATVs. Second hand clothing stores, toy stores..you name it. This can't be good for a hurting economy.
