Information on the political forum - PLEASE READ

With the upcoming elections there is going to be a lot of political discussions going on. Some members may not wish to read these discussions so we've created this forum. We anticipate closing this forum after the election.

Now for the warnings:

We have had over time quite a number of political threads here in the other forum. Usually these involve quite a bit of debating - sometimes very heated debating. Some members have been put off by this and others very much enjoy the debates no matter how heated they become. Our policy has been and as far as I can see will continue to be to try and stay out of moderating political threads unless they descend down into severe personal attacks.

So consider this fair warning!!!!

If you choose to read or participate in political threads understand that you are entering areas that often contain heated debates. If you do not wish to participate in or read heated debates DO NOT click on political threads. If you do choose to participate in political threads, expect that there will be other members that will disagree with your position and may have views that will offend you - sometimes heatedly. If you choose to read political threads understand that you may read views that will offend you. Please try to keep things civil as best you can. If you choose to be less than civil with each other and the other party wants to have a debate on that level please do so via private messages or email.
