The "N" word

Now, I got a question for everyone. Why is it a Black man can call another black man the "N" word but if a white guy call that same black guy the "N" word ....is racist ? Is that some double standard er what?

Now, I have to admit , before I went into the service, I was racist. It was in the military that I discovered that there are good people and bad people, and race didn't have squat to do with it. Matter of fact , most of my good friends in the service were either of foreign decent or Latino background. They all were great people, and some I still have contact with.

Just trying to get another view of all of this, not picking on black people...........just using this as an example.
