Looking for an aluminum runningboard restoration product, any recommandations?

I have cab and box running boards on my dually and they are starting to oxidize. Sinse the truck is in getting paint (including new doors and a right front fender) I like to restore the finish on the diamond plate running boards with a minimum amount of effort. I tried a couple searches and found here. I have polished wheels before so I'm kind of familar with working with aluminum.

Does anyone have any other suggerstions or tips for aluminum runningboard restoration and preservation?
