Parts Prices
First, thanks to all who post on this site. I successfully installed my FP gauge this weekend using info gleaned from reading here. While I was at the parts house, I told them what I was doing and they looked at me like I feel from a tall tree, then the owner mentioned that it was a good thing I didn't have a Ford. He said sometimes they have Ford days at the place--nothing but Ford owners coming for parts. He said the new ones were only slightly better than the 7.3s. As an example of costs, he said if you have an auto trans and replace all filters on the truck: Ford >$200, Chevy/GMC $180, Dodge $80 Thought ya'll might like to compare. Dan
