Key FOB Remote Question Please

A question to the forum please. Last night I decided that I had, had enough of the panic button on the Key FOB and made the decision to disable it with a piece of scotch tap over the electrical contact on the circuit board. While making this mod, I noticed that there is a 4th set of contacts on the board and a 4th button in the rubber molding that would be located under the insignia on the Key FOB. This would be between the Lock button and the Panic button.

So the question is this, would anybody know what this 4th switch is for

I make the assumption that it has some sort of function that is usable, but what would the function be???
