How to ship tires

I have 5ea Michelin LTX AS 265x70r17 tires...brand new from my 06 Dodge. I have had some interest and am wondering if anyone has shipped tires UPS or other lately.

I need to know what restrictions there might be and how they should be configured...boxed, banded, etc....and what cost should I expect. I know they will be heavy and bulky but my new Nitto Terra Grapplers are being shipped via UPS to me so it has to be possible.

Thanks for any info...
