Aftermarket shocks
I know nothing about shocks, except they help with suspension and the bottom axle mounting point is 1.75 inches wide.
So, I am custom lifting my truck with air ride. My front will be 3" higher than stock, the rear 2". The truck is a bit nose down so the extra inch will help.
Here is my question. I am designing the shock bracket spacing. Do shocks come in preset 1" increment lengths or not? What is the range on a basic Bilstein or Rancho. I don't need racing or remote reservoir shocks right now, just something like stock or a little better than stock.
Thanks guys!
Nick
