19.5 tires/wheels
I have an investment sort of question. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for when I did a search, so here goes. I have an '04 dually, and the crappy GSA's keep splitting and cracking. I went to rotate them, but ended up buying a used tire as I found another one is splitting, and two more have serious cracks. These tires are JUNK!!! I am contemplating Coopers or Firestones if I just replace the tires.
You who have used the Coopers or Firestones on a 4x4, what sort of mileage did you get out of them?
My other question is for 19.5 inch tires/wheels. I'm thinking steel wheels and 245/70/19.5 tires. What sort of mileage can I get out of these? Can I expect to see over 100K on a set? I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade, or if I should just get new tires and be done (for another 2.5 years).
