Question Time For New Tires -- Michelins Again? -- Or Something Else?

My stock Michelin 265/70R17 LTX A/S tires have 85,000 miles on them; they'll probably go to 90K. I want to replace them with the same or similar long-lasting, quiet riding highway tire; the truck is 2WD and I'm pretty much a highway driver, although I tow a cargo trailer occassionally.

I'd like to increase the tire size to 285, and stay with Load Range E. Should I get Michelins again? I see posts on the website quoting Michelin mileage between 75K and 105K.

Or something else? In a post from 3 years ago, a former Michelin rep said he personally purchased BFG tires; mileage not quite as high as Michelin, but a lower cost, so he obtained more tire miles per dollar.

NOISE is an important factor; I like a quiet ride. And, WHERE TO BUY? Costco? Sam's Club? Les Schwab? Thx.
