Searching for the "Best" Tire Pressure Monitor System
I've been surfing the internet for information on tire pressure monitoring systems.
I've deduced that the valve cap types such as Pressure Pro monitor pressure only.
Some of the others that go inside the wheel can monitor temperature as well.
Other than the manufacturer's literature, I cannot find any test results on these things. I would prefer to monitor the truck tires as well as the trailer, but at the prices I am seeing, the truck tires are going to be sacrificed as I can "feel" them somewhat. I most definitely would like to monitor the trailer tire pressures.
Any thoughts on what is the best brand and if temperature would be needed as well? I sort of feel that as long as the tire pressure stays up at 80#, that should more or less take care of temperature problems.
My trailer has Michelin LT tires on it.
