Street/Highway 20" Tires
Been thinking about putting 20s on my 2-wheel drive '98 but I'm finding most sizes I'm interested in have pretty light weight ratings. I see guys running low-profile 20s on their HD Ram trucks though (talking about under 32" diameter). Are any of you running any of the sizes listed below. . . I would like to hear some of your opinions and experiences and what brand/model of tire you're running. These are the sizes I'm considering, along with the weight ratings they come in, and my comments:
• 275/55/20 – 2833 #1 pick, good selection, but concerned about weight rating
• 275/60/20 – 2998, good rating but diameter is 33" (too big)
• 285/50/20 – 2756 definitely too light
• 295/50/20 – 2910 but limited selection, wider than I want
• 305/50/20 - 3086, basically Range E, but definitely too wide
