Clear Protective tape

Looking for 12mil (or thicker) clear 3M tape like Geno's sells. Geno's is 8mil thick. I want to put the stuff under my 'paint rubbing' Dodge mudflaps before installing them. A long time ago I found a site or two for this stuff & now I can't find the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
