Any structural engineers out there?

Looking to put a few lights in the side of my Round side step with these lights

LEDTrailerLights.com - M09300 3/4" round grommet mount LED clearance marker light for truck, cargo & utility trailers, trucks and RVs

These are 3/4" round and mount in a hole. If I drill 4 , 3/4" holes equal distance on the step bar, would that weaken the pipe too much? Or am I paranoid?
