Air Horn Placement

got a crazy question for you guys with the under hood mounted BIG horns.....do you lose any volume or sound quality with them mounted under hood? i have hadley bullies mounted under the radiator...but i just got a 25" grover emergency and i may not be able to mount it in the same place.....thanks gang
