New pump by tank

Installed new lift pump by my tank. With stock pump still in use. Since my truck is a 4x4 I needed to put the new pump some place other than the frame rail. I chose the under side of the truck bed. It is just about 18 inches away from the fuel tank pick up tube. In the future I will go directly to the fuel tank pick up tube. Cut stock line in front of tank, put a 30 micron back flow filter, new fuel line over frame to a Edelbrock 10 micron cleanable filter with cooling fins, to carter pump (7psi) to a Gulf coast toilet paper diesel fuel filter 1 micron (and only 20 cents to replace filter element) to the original fuel line with one more clear 30 micron back flow filter. I use my truck at work (construction) and I am compensated for using my truck with free fuel. Fuel is from a good supplier but our onsite fuel storage is old and questionable so I wanted to be sure of no contamination in my fuel system. Have valves set up to switch back to stock fuel line in case the new carter by the tank fails. I have a waterproof toggle switch by the new carter to turn off the pump by the tank and check stock lift pump pressure. Used the Cummins lift pump pigtail soldered on my workbench and made it an easy quick job for doing the wiring. Waiting on the new 0-30 Dipricol gauges and also Blair’s fuel test gauge. What do ya’ll think? TDR gave me almost all the info I needed for a good clean installation. On the new Duramax they have a small cooler 6x8 for the fuel but it is in front of the fuel tank right where it will get hit by rocks and stuff. Thank you all.
