Hitch?

Has any one seen a hitch ball that bolts directly to the frame,and only the ball comes up through the bed? This unit does not fold down but remains up all the time. A friend of mine saw one on another truck but could not see a mfg.tag or any logo. If anyone knows the company that offers this type please let me know. Thanks
