Bigger tires-need advice how big?
Hello, I am a new TDR member and I have had my Cummins for almost 2 weeks now. I love the truck and bought it specfically for the Cummins. Anyhow I need your help on a few questions.....
2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 reg cab Patriot Blue auto tranny (EVERY option except heated leather seats which ya can't get in the reg cab)
I ordered 4.10 gear ratio knowing I was going up in tire size soon after. I have absolutely nuthing to pull I just love the truck....
1)What is the biggest tire you can run with the stock suspension?
2)Lifting the truck- how high can you lift the suspension before requiring new driveshafts etc. (I am thinking 4" isn't too extreme? Will 4" clear 35" tires?)
3)Any recommendations on tires - currently eyeballing the 35" Superswamper SSR
Any and ALL comments are welcome.
