Lightbulb Diesel Insulation Product Coming Out at Dieselfest

A couple of weeks an old friend stopped by and during our visit I, of course, showed him my truck.
Turns out he is the Senior Manufactoring Engineer for Advanced Thermal Products, Inc. in Santa Ana, California. These folks can and do insulate just about everything that needs insulating and/or sound dampening, from factorys to trains, including diesel engines.
He was so interested in a possible market for our trucks the company went out and bought a 3500 and are doing a number on it as I write this. They are doing the complete exhaust system including the turbo, the hood, valve covers and if they have time, the firewall. Thay have made arrangements to be a vendor at the Dieselfest in Long Beach.
My friend offered to do a duplicate job on my truck to see how I liked it and so I could show it off at Dieselfest.

He feels it will make a dramatic change in under hood temperature and in cab noise. They allready do busses, tractors and the like and think the results will be just as impressive on our trucks.

What do you guys think? Is this a viable product? More important, should I go for it?

Thanks for any input,
Ron
