Why more RPM's???

I see alot of you guys running the GSK 's and I'm kind of wondering what it would do for my setup.

What are we trying to do with raising the RPM's?...bringing the HP up?

Also, does it affect the way the truck picks up speed?

Not clear on the upgrade

Any help would be great.
